If I am unable to attend, what is the cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend the Conference and you have paid your registration fees, you are responsible for notifying the Registration Chairs by e-mail 14
calendar days prior to the Conference's start. You are strongly encouraged to send someone as your substitute, again notifying the Registration Chairs of your decision. If you are unable to attend and unable to find a substitute, you will have to forfeit your registration fee.
If I am unable to attend, will my paper still be published in the Conference proceedings?
If you are unable to attend the Conference and you have paid your registration fees, you should ideally find a substitute to present your paper at the conference. If you are unable to find a substitute and you have notified the Registration Chairs prior to the Conference's start, then your paper will still be published in the Conference proceedings, provided that you have complied with all of the editorial comments from the peer-review.
What are the conference dates?
The Conference runs from July 30th to August 2nd, 2007.
Where is the Conference Hall?
The Conference Hall is the Idaho State Pond's Student Union Building.
Do I have to be an American Nuclear Society (ANS) member to be a Conference author?
No. ANS membership is not required to present a Conference paper. In addition to a reduction in the registration fee, there are benefits to being an ANS member. For additional information, please refer to the ANS Membership webpage.
When will I receive my program book?
The Conference Program Book and Book of Abstracts will be distributed during Check-In at the Conference.
The website mentions a badge for access to the plenary and technical session, where do I get my badge?
The Conference badge will be distributed during Check-In at the Conference.
I am unable to attend the Spouse/Guest event that I purchased, can I receive a refund?
Unfortunately, there are no refunds for the Spouse/Guest events. Transportation and event entrance fees are based upon the event fee and thus the Conference is committed once an event ticket is purchased.
I plan to bring my laptop computer, will there being a wireless network in the Conference Hall?
No, the Conference Hall will not feature wireless network access for Conference attendees. However, the Conference Hotels offer free, high-speed internet access.
What is the official language of the Conference?
The Conference's working language is English.
Will the Conference have language translators?
No. The Conference Hotels are reported to have multi-lingual front desk staff.
What is the dress code for the Banquet?
The Banquet attire specifies a shirt and tie. The Banquet Hall is air conditioned and will support this attire during the July temperatures.
Can I bring a guest to any sessions or plenaries?
Only registered Conference participants will be allowed to attend Conference Sessions or Plenary presentations.
Can I bring a guest to any of the receptions or events?
Guest tickets for Conference events are available at the ANS AccApp07 Registration website and can also be purchased at the Conference site.
Where do I go to collect my badge and registration package?
A Conference Registration Desk will be available at the Primary Conference Hotel during the Welcome Reception and every day during the Conference in the Conference Hall.
What should I wear to attend the Conference?
The Conference attire is Business casual.
