Lava Hot Springs: Bubbling out of natural underground springs, the hot water is laden with minerals, but has no sulfur and therefore no bad odor. Natural water temperature of 102 - 110 F (39 - 43 C), four outdoor gravel bottom pools, and a massage facility.
Fort Hall Replica: a replica of the historic facility
that served pioneer travelers along the Oregon Trail. Enter the massive wooden gates

Blacksmith and Carpenter's Room. A covered wagon and tepee enhance the outdoor exhibit. |

Yellowstone Bear World: a nostalgic look back to when black and grizzly bears roamed
free in Yellowstone National Park. Bear World is a unique drive through park where you can watch the wildlife in their own habitats in your own vehicle. The Bear
World visit includes a petting zoo, where visitors can interact with various animals
and bear cubs.
Portneuf Valley Brewing
(PVB): PVB poured their first beer for public consumption in July of 1996. In October
2005, the PVB opened the Pub to the public, serving wine and the full range of PVB
brews by the glass, as well as Penny's famous Carrie Nation Sarsaparilla Root Beer.
Portneuf Valley Brewing provides a pleasant environment to try a wide variety of
hand-crafted beers.

Tour:

Craters of the Moon: a lava field that had sixty separate
flows and is the largest basaltic lava field in North America.
This "rip in the earth's crust" has provided an
easy way for visitors to get an up-close view of amazing
volcanic structures like cinder cones, shield volcanoes, lava
tubes, volcanic bombs, tree molds, and the three principal
forms of lava -- pahoehoe, block and a'a.
EBR-1: the first nuclear-powered electrical power plant
ever built, and today it is open free of charge to visitors
and offers both guided and self-guided tours. Even though
the building's bland cinderblock construction appears to be
uninspiring from a distance, this place is well worth a visit.
Unlike virtually every other nuclear facility in America,
the taking of photographs is not only allowed, but is even
encouraged by the knowledgeable curatorial staff.
